Essentially, a heat dump acts like a radiator, and disperses any extra heat from your SunMaxx Hot Water Heater System, keeping your home and water at safe, comfortable levels all year long.

The SunMaxx HD is a line of Solar Heat Dumps offered directly from SunMaxx. There are two models, a standard heat dump, and a PV Powered Fan Model. The SunMaxx HD Heat Dumps are available as add-on products to all of our pre-packaged solar hot water kits, and as a separate product for individual purchase.
