SunMaxx Solar Product Upgrades
SunMaxx Solar is always developing and manufacturing new Solar Energy products !
SunMaxx Solar Ballast Tray Systems:
The SunMaxx Solar Ballast Tray System fits all major solar modules and provides a reliable and long-lasting method to mount flat plates, evacuated tubes, or photovoltaic collectors to a flat roof without any penetrations to the roofing membrane. The ballast trays distribute weight over a large surface area providing for a lower roof load per square foot. Aluminum and stainless steel components are rust resistant to provide years of maintenance-free service. EPDM rubber pads on the bottom of the system increase friction and prevent roof surface abrasion. The trays hold standard 8 x 16 x 1-7/8″ size blocks, which you can source locally. With these blocks in place in the ballast tray system, you can safely anchor your solar collectors without compromising the roofing membrane. One tray can hold 9 blocks weighing 15 lbs. each for a total of 147 lbs. per tray. Two SunMaxx TitanPower SU2 or 2.4 flat plate collectors can have up to 4 trays attached for a total of 588 lbs. between the two collectors!
SunMaxx Solar NP Tanks:
SunMaxx Solar, a leading, vertically integrated manufacturer of solar thermal systems and components, is pleased to announce that the company now manufactures non-pressure storage tanks out of their Binghamton, New York facility!
Prepackaged Solar Kits:
To simplify selling and installing SunMaxx solar hot water and solar heating systems, we have developed a number of prepackaged solar hot water and solar heating kits. Each of our prepackaged kits include the major components needed for a quick turnkey installation. SunMaxx has prepackaged solar hot water kits for domestic solar hot water and combi systems (new system and retrofit installations). Our prepackaged solar hot water kits are available with both SunMaxx evacuated tube and SunMaxx flat plate solar collectors, and include today’s leading balance of system components for easy, cost-effective installation right out of the box.
SunMaxx Solar Grade Glycol XT:
SunMaxx Solar’s custom solar-formula Glycol XT is a 50/50 mixture of 1,3-Propanediol and water. With a long list of advantages, including a lower price, this heat transfer fluid has a higher thermal conductivity than standard propylene glycol, while maintaining the original’s very low toxicity. SunMaxx Glycol XT also has a greater temperature range than standard propylene glycol. It can go just as low without freezing to -17°F (-27°C), and can withstand temperatures as high as 349°F (176°C) without breaking down. In addition to all its other good features, Glycol XT is also a very green product. Unlike typical propylene or ethylene glycols, which are made from foreign oil or natural gas, SunMaxx Solar Glycol XT is made from sustainable, bio-based raw materials. And production emits 40% less green house gas and uses 20% less energy to produce than standard propylene glycol.
