Perfect for warmer climates where freezing conditions are not a problem, SunMaxx offers our SunMaxx TS ThermoSyphon Systems. These kits include specialized SunMaxx 30 Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors, and a specially engineered 80 Gallon Storage Tank that mounts directly to the top of the solar collector, acting as both a storage tank, and a heater manifold.
Since both components of this system, including the storage, are exterior, it is imperative that you be in a non-freeze climate. The low cost of ThermoSyphon Systems make them ideal for large residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial applications using an open loop (non-glycol) system. With proper installation and system design, the 80 Gallon Thermosyphon System can also be used in Northern, colder climates very successfully.
The 80 Gallon System provides enough hot water capacity to supply a family of 4 or more people, and requires only 78ft of south facing roof space.
