Operational Basics of a Solar Thermosyphon System:
Through the process of natural convection, hot water rises and cold water sinks. This principle is the basis of explaining the operation of a Thermosyphon System. Cold water sinks from the storage tank at the top of the unit into the evacuated tubes. In the tubes, the cold water is heated rising back up into the tank on top or header. Throughout the day, all of the cold water within the Thermpsyphon System will be heated in this way.
