    New York State and it's future in solar has been well planned out for the year's to come with the help of SunMaxx Solar CEO Adam Farrell. The plan has been devised to help push New York to be one of the leading states in the country as far as solar energy is concerned. The plan was proposed to greatly increase the amount of solar thermal technology in the state opening up possibly thousands of green jobs and creating as much as $2.6 Billion in revenue for the U.S. in a few short years.

    The US solar thermal marketplace is already reaping the benefits of the recently announced partnership between European solar thermal manufacturer GEO-TEC Solar Industries and North American solar innovator SunMaxx Solar.

    The SunMaxx TitanPower Plus-SU2 flat panel solar collector has received OG-100 certification. More notably, this collector achieved the highest OG-100 energy output rating for collectors using ethylene glycol as a transport medium. SunMaxx Solar now leads the industry with this new line of solar flat plate collectors.

    MAGE SUNFIXINGS GmbH (www.sunfixings.com) has succeeded in acquiring SunMaxx (www.sunmaxx.com), a US supplier of solar hot water heaters, as a new major customer. During a company visit at MAGE SUNFIXINGS, both business partners, Adam Farrell, CEO of SunMaxx, and Marcus E. Müller, CEO of MAGE SUNFIXINGS, signed an agreement for a long-term cooperation.
    Against the backdrop of increasing globalisation in the area of renewable energies, both partners are hoping to bundle their sales competencies to develop the markets in the US.

    A SunMaxx Solar Thermal System won Best In State for 2010 government solar projects. The New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA) announced this week that the SunMaxx ThermoPower-VHP30 system (with a total of 1,440 evacuated solar tube collectors) installed at Wallkill Correctional Facility in Wallkill, NY, was the best in its class in design, impact and total reduction in fossil fuel use. The system will average 1.6 million BTU’s per day of free solar energy.

    A new training program is under development and is expected to be offered in January 2010. The Sales Training workshop will help dealers and distributors be more effective in finding clients and closing their sales. This one day workshop will cover topics such as setting-up a successful business, the sales process and procedures, and helpful product pitches.     Todd Paternoster, Solar Thermal Training Manager at Silicon Solar Inc, was invited to the 5th grade students at Sidney Elementary School, where they had just started a new unit on renewable energy and ecological conservation. Mr. Paternoster has been traveling the United States, training solar installers as part of Silicon Solar's solar thermal training and solar classes program.
