SunMaxx Solar System To Be Installed At One Of The World’s Best Private Island Resorts
avwFm87mDz2013-02-27T13:05:47+00:00IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Binghamton, NY (February 27, 2013) – SunMaxx Solar is pleased to announce their partnership with RTD Energy & Power on next month's solar hot water installation at the Amanpulo Resort in Pamalican Island, Palawan in the Philippines. SunMaxx partnered with RTD, who was recently awarded contract by the world class resort. The winning bid is to construct a solar hot water system for a staff quarter/dormitory building, which will house 160 staff. This project is one of a series of potential solar hot water systems, as there are other facilities that would be in need of commercial hot water systems at the resort. The new solar system will be comprised of 8 TitanPowerPlus SU2.4 solar collectors that will be roof mounted. Also included will be a StorMaxx non-pressure 620 gallon solar storage tank. Installation of the new solar system is scheduled to begin next month. Amanpulo Resort rests on an island just 500 meters across at it's widest point and the only way to get there is a private plane. Their power is not served by a utility company. They are off-grid and provide their own power by utilizing generators. Their objective with solar thermal technology is to reduce the expensive cost of these generators. “SunMaxx is excited to be joining forces with one of its premier dealer partners in the Philippines”, states SunMaxx Sales Manager, Ed Gunn. “We're looking forward to developing a long lasting relationship with RTD, both in regards to commercial and residential installations as well as supporting RTD in offering certified training programs in the Philippines, which will help stimulate solar thermal growth.” As SunMaxx Solar continues to grow every day, the company never fails to uphold its philosophy of building a sustainable future for our global community. By making its products simpler and more applicable to the general public, our community can make strides towards lessening our carbon footprint. In today’s energy consuming world, SunMaxx Solar offers world-class solar and renewable energy products, striving to meet the increasing need for alternative energy sources.
