New Solar Thermal Hot Water System Installed in Hoboken
avwFm87mDz2013-09-06T12:28:26+00:00FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: This week, Sunmaxx Solar and their team of installers, completed a commercial solar hot water system in a New Jersey high rise. "TribecaWest" is a luxury condo development project in Hoboken, NJ. The SunMaxx Solar hot water system will provide solar hot water to its 15 units. In New York City, the Tribeca neighborhood is known for it's luxurious high end living -- a close second to Park Avenue, of course. Now, the luxurious living of Tribeca can be found west of the the Hudson River, in Hoboken. Thomas Pintak, owner of Pintak Development, labeled Tribeca West as "Manhattan Living Comes West." For Pintak, going west means going green. The 928 Jefferson Street high rise features thirteen of SunMaxx Solar'sTitanpowerplusSU24 premium flat plates. The company also installed a 211 gallon Stormaxx-CTEC tank which is pre heat solar hot water system. SunMaxx's system is designed to offset 70% of the building's domestic hot water load, saving 70% of buildings gas usage. For more information, contact SunMaxx Solar's marketing department.
TitanPower ALDH29 Receives OG-100 SRCC Certification
avwFm87mDz2013-09-03T14:25:40+00:00 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The latest technology in solar thermal hot water flat plates is officially on the market. Today, the Solar Rating and Certification Corporation (SRCC), awarded SunMaxx Solar's TitanPower ALDH29 the OG-100 Certification. According to the SRCC, "the OG-100 collector certification program applies to that part of a solar energy system that is exposed to the sun and collects the sun's heat." The independent third-party non-profit conducted numerous durability tests for the certification. During these tests, they measured the collector's energy output performance. In Climate Category C (36 F), the TitanPower ALDH29's output reaches an unbelievable 31.2 kBtu rating. The Y Intercept rating is 0.739 with a slope of -0.702 Btu/hr.ft2.°F. Aesthetically, the plates give the "skylight" look more than any other solar panel on the market. For more information, contact SunMaxx Solar's marketing department [email protected]
SunMaxx Solar designed these flat plates to connect to one another with connector brackets instead of the traditional mounting rail. As a result, the installation cost and time is dramatically reducing.
Texas Has The Largest Solar Potential In The Country
avwFm87mDz2013-08-23T19:55:54+00:00FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Do you know that the sunshine that falls on Texas in a month contains more energy than all of the oil that has ever been pumped in the state can generate. Texas is the state that has the largest solar potential in the country, yet it only ranked tenth nationwide in terms of installed solar power generation capacity, enough solar energy installed to power 11,900 homes. According to U.S. Energy Information Administration Residential Energy Consumption Survey, the average annual household electricity cost in Texas is close to $2,000, one of the highest in the nation; and water heating is the third highest energy expense. The government is on the move to maximize the usage of the solar potential in Texas with solar incentive programs to support solar energy. CEO Adam Farrell of Sunmaxx Solar, leading global provider of solar thermal systems, says, "The solar potential in Texas is incredible. To know that the government has strong incentives to stimulate growth of the solar industry in Texas is even better news. I believe solar thermal will replace conventional water heaters in the state in the near future, cutting energy cost significantly for all households."
What is the Resale Value of My Solar Home?
avwFm87mDz2013-08-16T14:19:13+00:00FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Does the solar system installed in your home increases the property value and helps you when selling your home? Yes! The American Appraisal Institute estimated that any home features that save in operating costs would increase the home’s value by twenty times the amount saved. Every homeowners who have installed solar systems in their property experience an increase in resale price of the home generated from the systems they have installed. The question now is,” How much will my property value increase from installing a solar system?” It really depends on your system. The more your system is able cut in operating cost, the higher the value increase will be. Considering the energy savings once the system is installed, the initial cost is always recaptured when the home sells. According to recent studies, solar thermal systems save more energy than PV Systems, which translates to solar thermal systems can increase your home value more than PV Systems. Ed Gunn from SunMaxx Solar, one of the leading solar companies in the solar thermal industry, acknowledged that solar thermal systems can add up to $20,000 in property value to your home. Examples of such solar thermal systems are offered by SunMaxx Solar Inc., featuring some of the most efficient solar thermal systems in the entire industry. One of the many reasons to go solar, despite the fact that it is a home improvement that will pay for itself, is that the initial cost invested will recuperate with value added to the home.
Australia Ranked Number One for Individual Solar Installations
avwFm87mDz2013-08-16T12:03:12+00:00FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Australia has been dubbed the country with the highest number of Individual Solar Installations in the world. New data from the Climate Commission's Solar Energy Report shows Australians are installing solar at an extraordinary rate. The Report reveals 2.5 million people in Australia have a solar system. Government projections suggested solar would grow to the point it is now only by 2030. In an interview with ABC News Australia, the Climate Commissions Chief Tim Flannery, tslks about solar thermal. , says that even though solar thermal is very popular now in Australia, "the next frontier is solar thermal." New York based company SunMaxx Solar, manufactures, engineers, and installs solar thermal units all over the world. Company CEO, Adam Farrell, says "the fact that Australia is adopting solar thermal is very exciting." Farrell says the company has sold several units to the Aussies, and SunMaxx Solar is expecting even more business from the region in the next year. "Solar thermal is the next frontier, our numbers prove it. It's fantastic that the global awareness of the world's water problems are coming to a head, and people are doing something about it."
