SunMaxx To Install Solar Thermal System At Los Angeles Air Force Base SunMaxx Solar announced today the company will soon be starting a large solar thermal system installation in the United States at the Los Angeles Air Force Base in Los Angeles, California. Scheduled to be completed by the middle of 2011, the installation will be for a domestic hot water and space heating system, and will be comprised of 96 SunMaxx ThermoPower-VHP30 evacuated tube solar collectors. The total collector square footage amounts to over 5,300 square feet. The system will be installed by 411 Greenwave, a San Diego, California-based authorized SunMaxx solar thermal systems installer.
